Coal India Limited ne ab apna business model diversify karne ka bada faisla liya hai. Company ne ₹69,346 crore ka budget rakha hai jo chemicals, thermal power, aur battery storage projects mein lagaya jayega.
Kya hai Coal India ka naya strategy?
Coal India jo ab tak sirf duniya ki sabse badi coal producer thi, ab apne kaam ko diversify kar rahi hai. Company ne ₹69,346 crore ka massive investment plan banaya hai jo mainly coal-to-chemicals projects par focus karega. Iska aim urea, ammonium nitrate, aur synthetic natural gas jaisi cheezein banana hai.
Partnering aur Projects ki Detail
Kaam ko sahi se karne ke liye, company alag-alag partners ke saath jud rahi hai:
- Talcher Fertilisers Limited: Yaha ₹19,062 crore ke investment se urea plant banega.
- Bharat Coal Gasification & Chemicals Limited: Is project mein ₹25,015 crore lagaye jayenge.
- Bharat Petroleum: Chandrapur mein gas production ke liye inke saath partnership ki gayi hai.
- Damodar Valley Corporation: Chandrapura mein 2x800 MW thermal power expansion par kaam chal raha hai.
Saath hi, company Telangana aur Odisha mein 187.5 MW aur 80 MW ke battery storage projects par bhi focus kar rahi hai.
Investors ke liye kya hai khabar?
Coal India hamesha se ek dividend-paying cash-rich company rahi hai, lekin ab ye paisa apne growth areas mein wapas daal rahi hai. Risk ye hai ki chemical aur battery manufacturing ka domain unke purane mining business se bilkul alag hai.
Management ne kaha hai ki wo 'stage-gated investment' approach use karenge, yaani pehle pilot projects mein success check karenge aur fir aage badhenge. Isse cost overrun ka risk kam hoga.
Critical Minerals par nazar
Ab Coal India graphite aur rare earth elements jaise minerals mein bhi entry kar rahi hai. Shareholders ko ab bas ye track karna hoga ki projects time par pure hote hain ya nahi aur kya company apna main profit margin maintain kar paati hai ya nahi.
