DCIL ke shares ne lagbhag do din mein 33% ka zabardast surge dikhaya hai, intraday mein ₹1,151 tak pahunch gaye. Ye rally FY25-26 ke finance results aur Q4 ke strong performance ki wajah se hui hai.

Company ne apne 50 saal ke history mein sabse zyada annual turnover ka record banaya hai, jo ₹1,214.09 crore hai. FY25 mein jo ₹27.46 crore ka net loss tha, usse nikal kar FY26 mein company ne ₹4.75 crore ka profit after tax kamaya hai. Aur Q4 (Jan-Mar 2026) toh dhamakedar raha, profit ₹86.91 crore raha jo pichhle saal ke Q4 ke ₹21.40 crore se kaafi zyada hai. Revenue bhi 73% badh kar ₹478.23 crore ho gaya.

Costs control kiye, capacity badhai!

DCIL ne fuel prices, operational costs, aur market competition jaise challenges ko acche se handle kiya. FY26 ke liye operational profit (EBITDA) ₹253.46 crore raha. Global economic volatility aur inflation ko manage karne mein management ki strategy kaam kar gayi.

Ab company ka target FY27 mein ₹1,500 crore ka turnover hai. Iska bada reason banega India ka sabse bada dredger, 'DCI Dredge Godavari', jo October 2026 mein start hone wala hai. Ye naya vessel company ki capacity ko maintainance aur capital dredging projects dono mein boost karega.

CareEdge Ratings ne DCIL ke experience aur coastal maintenance mein role ko appreciate kiya hai. Unka kehna hai ki company ka 83% order book top 5 orders se hai, jisme promoter ports ka bada reliance hai. Haalanki DCIL ne ek naya term loan liya hai, leverage abhi bhi manageable hai, gearing March 31, 2025 tak 1 se neeche tha. Naye dredger se capacity utilization badhne par debt coverage metrics FY27 se improve hone ki ummeed hai.

Potential Risks Bhi Hain

Itne acche performance ke bawajood, kuch risks bhi hain. Order book ka concentration, jisme 83% top 5 orders se hai, company ko key clients, specially promoter ports ki demand mein changes se vulnerable bana sakta hai. DCIL ka leverage abhi comfortable lag raha hai, lekin naya dredger, jisme Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited se loan liya gaya hai, debt badhata hai.

Agar DCI Dredge Godavari ki commissioning mein deri hui ya utilization expectations se kam raha, toh debt coverage ratios par pressure aa sakta hai. Zyada diversified order book wale competitors ya kam debt wale stocks stable investment option ho sakte hain agar market conditions kharab hui toh. Bade, concentrated projects par depend karne wali companies project timelines aur client relationships ki wajah se volatile ho sakti hain.

Aage ki Growth Prospects

DCIL ki strategy naye, sabse bade dredger par focus hai, jisse operational capacity kafi badhne wali hai. Management ka FY27 ke liye ₹1,500 crore turnover ka target confidence dikhata hai, agar projects acche se execute hue aur market demand strong rahi toh. Enhanced operational capacity se financial metrics, specially debt coverage, FY27 se improve hone ki ummeed hai.
