Abhi jo e-pharmacies chal rahi hain, unke liye India mein regulations par ek bada sawaal khada ho gaya hai. Jaisa ki AIOCD ne bataya hai, rules mein gadbad hai aur prescription check bahut kamzor hai, jiski wajah se log bina proper guidance ke antibiotics aur addictive medicines le sakte hain. Aur tension wali baat yeh hai ki AI se bani fake prescriptions bhi aa rahi hain, jo public health ke liye bahut khatarnak ho sakti hain.

Lekin interesting baat yeh hai ki AIOCD ka yeh strike koi unite front nahi bana pa raha. Kai badi chains aur state groups ismein saath nahi hain. Iska matlab hai ki e-pharmacies ka trend rukne wala nahi hai. India ka e-pharmacy market $3.4 billion tak pahunch sakta hai 2030 tak, jo saal mein 18-20% grow kar raha hai. Tata 1mg sabse aage hai around 31% share ke saath, uske baad Apollo 24/7 ka 28% share hai. PharmEasy ki valuation 92% gir gayi, par Apollo Hospitals ka pharmacy business mast chal raha hai, ₹25,000 crore tak pahunchna hai FY27 tak.

Is digital wave ke saamne, hamare purane dukandaron, jo market ka 54% hain, unko mushkil ho rahi hai. Profit kam hai, cost zyada hai, aur rural areas mein pahunch nahi hai.

AIOCD ko jo sabse badi problem hai woh hai GSR 817(E) aur GSR 220(E) jaisi notifications. Unka kehna hai ki inki wajah se sahi tarah se prescription check nahi ho pa raha. Aur AI ke use se toh fake prescriptions ban rahi hain, jo antibiotic resistance ko aur badha rahi hai.

E-pharmacies ke liye jo rules 2018 se banne ki baat ho rahi thi, woh abhi tak final nahi hue hain. Iski wajah se ek regulatory gap bana hua hai, jiska fayda online companies utha rahi hain. CDSCO bhi is par dhyan de raha hai, par clear rules ka intezaar hai.

Is poori situation mein kuch bade risks hain:

  • Traditional market ka unite na hona.
  • Antibiotic resistance ka badhna, jisse death rates bhi badh sakte hain.
  • Regulatory gaps ka fayda uthana.
  • Supply chain mein inefficiency aur counterfeit medicines ka risk.

Government chahti hai ki sabko medicines milti rahe, khaas kar zarooratmandon ko. Lekin rules mein changes zaroor honge. Ab dekhna hai ki yeh regulatory review aur digital trend aage kya rang laate hain. E-pharmacies aur traditional dukandaron ke beech ka yeh fight pharma sector mein bade changes la sakta hai.
