Duniya bhar mein Mental Health ka Bura Haal

Ye crisis sach mein khatarnak level par pahunch gaya hai. Ab 1 billion se zyada bande kisi na kisi mental health problem se deal kar rahe hain. Low aur middle-income countries mein toh iska impact aur bhi zyada hai, jahan anxiety aur depression jaise issues disability ka main reason ban rahe hain. Aur productivity loss toh alag hi hai, jismein trillions ka nuksan ho raha hai.

Paisa kahan hai? Funding ka Rona

Sabse badi baat ye hai ki governments ne is issue koseriously nahi liya. Mental health par sirf 2% health budget kharch ho raha hai, aur ye figure 2017 se change nahi hua hai. High-income countries $65 per person kharch kar rahe hain, jabki low-income countries sirf $0.04. Is wajeh se, low-income countries mein 10% se bhi kam logon ko care mil pati hai.

2016 mein mental disorders ki cost $2.5 trillion thi, aur 2030 tak ye double hone wali hai. Sirf depression aur anxiety se saal mein lagbhag $1 trillion ka productivity loss ho raha hai, matlab 12 billion din barbaad.

Anxiety aur Depression ka Shikar

Anxiety disorders 359 million logon ko affect kar rahe hain, aur depression 332 million logon ko. Inmein bhi women aur young log zyada affected hain. Bohot kam log, matlab 1 out of 4 logon ko hi treatment mil pati hai. Aur low/middle-income countries mein toh 75% se zyada log bina care ke reh jaate hain.

Suicide ka Badhta Khatra

Har saal lagbhag 740,000 log suicide kar rahe hain, matlab har 43 seconds mein ek death. Suicide, 15-29 saal ke young logon mein death ka teesra bada reason hai.

Paisa na hone ka Systemic Reason

Mental health pe kharch stagnant hai, jo ek badi problem hai. High-income aur low-income countries ke beech spending mein huge difference hai. Sirf 1 out of 5 countries ke paas national mental health policy hai.

New Tech, Old Problems

Tech mein investment badhi hai, $352 million tak pahunch gayi hai. Lekin essential services mein funding abhi bhi kam hai. WHO ne kaha hai ki ab policy change karne ki zarurat hai, taki sabko care mil sake. Is gap ko bharne ke liye 41% tak spending badhani pad sakti hai.
