Dekho bhai, India ne pakka kar diya hai ki April 2026 se food-grade PET packaging mein minimum 40% recycled content use karna compulsory hoga. Pehle yeh limit sirf 30% thi, toh companies ab recycled material ki taraf bhaagengi. Analysts bol rahe hain ki FY27 tak food-grade rPET ki zaroorat 6.84 lakh tonnes ho sakti hai, jabki supply sirf 3.54 lakh tonnes hone ka andaaza hai. Matlab ek bada gap hai! Srichakra iss mauke ko pakadne ke liye apni capacity 2026 tak badha kar 90,000 tonnes se 113,000 tonnes karne wala hai.

Par yeh journey aasan nahi hone wali. Sabse badi head-ache hai collected plastic ko high-quality, certified food-grade material mein convert karna. Ismein contamination aur sorting ki problems hain. Upper se, Srichakra jaise formal recyclers ko un-registered suppliers se mushkil hoti hai jo GST bhejte nahi aur iss wajah se unka cost kam padta hai. Srichakra ka goal hai revenue ko FY25 ke ₹227 crore se badha kar FY27 tak ₹1,000 crore karna. Iske liye unko yeh sab structural issues solve karne padenge.

Competition bhi bhaari hai. Global player Indorama Ventures, Varun Beverages ke saath milkar 100,000-tonne ka ek bada rPET facility bana raha hai. Aur India mein Ganesha Ecosphere (jiski market cap ₹2,800 crore hai) aur Banyan Nation jaise competitors bhi apni capacity badha rahe hain. Jab supply kam aur demand jyada hogi, toh raw material ke liye takkar badh jayegi, jisse costs aur upar jayenge. Srichakra ke paas US FDA aur EFSA approvals hain, jo ek advantage hai, par bade players ke aane se pressure badhega. Srichakra ki plants Krishnagiri aur Gujarat mein hain, jisse logistics cost kam ho sakta hai, par raw material ki quality consistency ek chupa hua risk hai.

Overall, India ka recycled PET market regulatory push aur badhti environmental awareness ke karan kaafi grow hone wala hai. Food-grade rPET ke liye price premium 2030 tak chalne ki ummeed hai. Srichakra ka future iss baat par nirbhar karega ki woh consistent, high-quality feedstock kaise secure kar pata hai, apni operations ko efficient rakhta hai, aur bade players ko kaise takkar deta hai. Industry mein do alag camps ban rahi hain: commodity recyclers aur compliance-grade material banane wale. Srichakra ka focus second camp par hai, par unhe industry ki inherent problems ko overcome karna hoga.
