Maharashtra Ka Plastic Waste Par Bada Attack!

Maharashtra government aur Recove Ventures Private Ltd ne ek ₹500 Crore se zyada ka 10-saal wala partnership sign kiya hai. Is deal ka main goal hai state poori tarah se plastic ko recycle aur manufacture karne ka ek system banana.

Problem kya hai?

Dekho, PET plastic toh lagbhag 95% tak recover ho jata hai, par HDPE aur PP jaise zaruri plastics ka recovery rate 30% se bhi kam hai. Naye Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) rules ke hisaab se companies ko zyada recycled plastic use karna hoga, aur ye rate aane wale 2-3 saalon mein 30% se 60% tak jaane wala hai.

Agar ye recovery rate improve nahi hui, toh India 2025 se 2030 ke beech $36 billion tak ka valuable recyclable material kho sakta hai! Isiliye ye initiative liya gaya hai.

First Plant Jalgaon Mein:

Is plan ke under pehla plant ₹35 Crore ka HDPE aur PP recycling plant hoga jo Additional Jalgaon MIDC mein banega. Ye late 2026 tak start ho jayega, matlab October se December 2026 ke beech. Yahan advanced tech use hogi jaise extrusion, granulation, aur deep-vacuum deodorisation, jisse packaging, automotive, aur consumer goods ke liye industrial-grade granules banenge. Isse 100 direct aur 1,500 se zyada indirect jobs bhi create hongi.

Recove Ventures Ka Kamaal:

Ye Recove Ventures na, 2024 mein hi start hui thi aur B2B circular economy platform hai. Isne seed funding mein $597,000 raise kiye hain aur sirf 6 mahine mein revenue 12 guna badha liya! Inke paas abhi lagbhag 30 recycler customers hain aur 90% repeat order rate hai. Bangalore mein inka facility monthly 415 tonnes process karta hai aur Pune mein bhi ek unit chal raha hai. India ka plastic recycling market bohot grow karne wala hai, aur waste management sector $19 billion tak pahunch sakta hai 2030 tak.

Challenges Bhi Hain:

Par bhai, itna bada kaam hai toh challenges toh honge hi. Recove ka current scale abhi ₹597,000 ki seed funding se compare karein toh ₹500 Cr ka network banana mushkil lagega. High-tech equipment ka cost aur raw material ki inconsistent quality bhi ek badi problem hai, kyunki waste segregation India mein utna achha nahi hai. Market mein pehle se bade players jaise Banyan Nation aur Shakti Plastic Industries bhi hain.

Future Kya Hai?

Maharashtra government ki support aur policy ki wajah se environment kaafi achha hai. Par Recove ko success ke liye zyada funding chahiye aur operations ko manage karna hoga. Jaise regulations tight ho rahe hain aur waste se value capture karne ke benefits dikh rahe hain, aise aur bhi bade partnerships dekhne ko mil sakte hain.
