NTPC Nuklear Power Plan: India ka Next Big Move? PWR Tech Ke Saath **30 GW** Ka Target!
Overview

Dekho bhai, NTPC ne nuclear power ke liye ek mast plan banaya hai. 2047 tak **30 GW** capacity banana hai, jisme purane PHWR ke saath naya imported PWR tech bhi use karenge. Baat-cheet chal rahi hai foreign companies se.

Toh NTPC ka plan hai ki 2047 tak 30 Gigawatts (GW) nuklear power khada kiya jaye. Ye India ke 100 GW ke target ka bada hissa hai. Ab ye log sirf apne purane PHWR reactors par depend nahi karenge, balki new imported PWR technology bhi laa rahe hain. France, Russia, aur USA ki badi companies se baat chal rahi hai. PWR reactors enriched uranium use karte hain aur ye duniya mein kaafi common hain, shayad isse kaam mein efficiency aaye. Yehi nahi, future ke liye Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) ka bhi socha jaa raha hai. March 19, 2026 tak, NTPC ki market value thi ₹3,62,607 crore, aur price-to-earnings ratio tha 14.61.

PWR Tech: Kharcha Aur Challenges Kya Hain?

Ab tak India apne PHWR reactors par hi bharosa karta aaya hai, jisme natural uranium lagta hai jo aasani se mil jata hai aur cost-effective rehta hai. Reports ke mutabik, ek domestic 700 MW PHWR ki initial cost around $1,150 per kilowatt-electric (kWe) hai, aur pura cost $1,700/kWe ho sakta hai. PWR reactors duniya bhar mein sabse zyada use hote hain aur inka design simple ho sakta hai. Lekin inhe enriched uranium chahiye hota hai, jo ek naya challenge hai. India ke paas uranium import ke plans hain, lekin enriched fuel secure karna thoda tricky ho sakta hai, especially kyunki India NPT signatory nahi hai. Russia bhi enriched fuel supply mein important role rakhta hai.

Risks: Der, Foreign Dependence Aur Renewables

PWR tech ke fayde toh hain, lekin NTPC ke is step mein kuch bade risks bhi hain. Jaise ki, projects time par complete karna ek bada challenge raha hai; company fiscal year 2025 ka target miss kar chuki hai land aur supply chain issues ki wajah se. Isse future targets par bhi sawal uthta hai. Kotak Institutional Equities ke analysts ne bhi execution risks par highlight kiya hai. Dusri baat, foreign technology aur fuel par depend karna geopolitical risks badha sakta hai. Aur haan, India mein renewables, khas kar solar aur wind, bahut tezi se saste ho rahe hain aur jaldi lag bhi jaate hain. Nuclear power ek stable energy source de sakta hai, lekin renewable ki speed NTPC ke nuclear projects ke liye competition paida kar rahi hai.

Growth Ka Scope Aur Experts Kya Kehte Hain?

Bahut se log NTPC ke nuclear power mein enter karne ko India ke energy transition aur net-zero 2070 goal ke liye important maante hain. Motilal Oswal aur HSBC (jisne stock ko 'Buy' upgrade kiya hai) jaise analysts NTPC ko is sector mein aage dekh rahe hain, especially nuclear energy aur battery storage mein. Overall analyst consensus 'Buy' ka hai. Lekin ye sab achhi baatein hain, par bade nuclear projects ke challenges ko nahi bhulna chahiye. Jaise NTPC ke purane projects mein time aur cost ko manage karne ki issues. PWR tech ka success NTPC ke international partnerships manage karne, fuel supply secure karne aur execution problems ko door karne par depend karega. Aur ye sab tab karna hai jab domestic energy market mein renewables ka raaj badh raha hai.
