Jammu & Kashmir administration ab **9.5 MW** ke Sewa-I hydropower project ko private funding model par shift kar rahi hai. Pehle PMDP-2015 ke under funds ki kami ki wajah se ye project attka hua tha.
Qissa kya hai?
Jammu aur Kashmir ki administration ne 9.5 MW wale Sewa-I hydropower project ko lekar ek bada strategic shift lene ka plan banaya hai. Ye project saalon se thande baste mein pada tha kyunki 2015 mein PMDP ke under jo funds milne wale the, woh kabhi mile hi nahi. Ab government ne tay kiya hai ki woh khud paisa nahi lagayegi, balki private sector ko invite karegi.
Kya hai plan?
Filhal region mein aise 13 chhote hydro projects hain jo stalled pade hain. Power Development Department ab 'facilitator' banna chahti hai, na ki primary developer. Iska matlab saaf hai—construction se lekar maintenance tak ka risk aur kharcha ab private companies ya independent power producers (IPPs) ka hoga.
Policy 2026 ka intezar
Is pure plan ki kamyabi ab 'Hydropower Policy 2026' par tiki hai, jo abhi tak draft stage par hai. Jab tak ye official policy nahi aati, tab tak investors aur developers cautious mode mein rahenge.
Investors ke liye kya watch karna hai?
Agar aap is sector mein interest le rahe hain, toh sirf policy ki announcement ka wait mat karo. Ye dekho ki:
- Government Tariff Structure kya set karti hai?
- Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) kitne transparent honge?
- Power evacuation infrastructure ka status kya hai?
Jab tak ye clear nahi hota, project status 'suspended' hi rahega. So, watch out for the upcoming tender terms!
