Ethanol ko milega boost!
India apne ethanol blending program ko ekdum next level par le ja raha hai. Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) ne E22 se E30 tak ke petrol grades ke liye naye standards announce kiye hain. Ye rules technically ready karte hain fuel ko high ethanol content ke liye, jisse production aur testing easy ho jayegi.
Aane wala hai E22 aur E30 Petrol?
Dekho, ye naye standards ka matlab yeh nahi hai ki kal se har jagah E22 ya E30 petrol milna start ho jayega. Ye bas future mein ye blends introduce karne ka technical roadmap hai. Ab petrol pumps par clear labeling hogi, jaise "E22 Petrol" ya "E30 Petrol", taaki aapko confusion na ho. Waise, abhi E20 ya normal petrol hi milega region ke hisaab se, aur sabhi pumps ko convert karne ka koi immediate pressure nahi hai.
Gaadiyo ka kya hoga?
Gaadi owners ko thoda dhyan dena padega. Ethanol mein petrol se thodi energy kam hoti hai, toh mileage thoda kam ho sakta hai jaise blend ratio badhega. Gaadi ki compatibility bhi important hai. Jo gaadiyan E20 ke liye bani hain, woh shayad gradual increase handle kar len, but purani models ko modification ki zarurat pad sakti hai. Automakers bhi E25 aur E30 jaise fuels market mein aane par clear guidance denge.
Government ka plan aur Industry ka view
Is policy ka main goal hai India ka crude oil par reliance kam karna aur domestic fuel options ko badhava dena. Ethanol, jo sugarcane jaise agri products se banta hai, kisaano ki income bhi badhata hai aur rural economy ko boost karta hai. Industry ne bhi in naye standards ko positive response diya hai, kyuki yeh future fuel adoption ka ek structured way hai. Kuch log toh E85 aur E100 tak jaane ki baat kar rahe hain, specially flex-fuel vehicles ke badhte use ke saath. Abhi toh yeh starting hai, actual transition oil companies, automakers aur fuel retailers ke mutual efforts par depend karega.
