Plane Fuel Mein Ab Ethanol Ka Tadka!

Dekho, Government ne ek bada decision liya hai. Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas ne 17th April ko notification nikala hai jisme bola gaya hai ki ab Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) mein ethanol blend ho sakta hai. Ye basically Aviation Turbine Fuel (Regulation of Marketing) Order, 2001 mein change kiya gaya hai. Ab ATF ki definition mein synthesized components bhi shamil hain, jo Indian standards ke hisaab se honge.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Ko Milega Boost

Is move ka sabse bada faida ye hai ki India mein Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) ka use tej hoga. Aapko pata hai, abhi hamari airlines sirf conventional jet fuel use karti hain, koi biofuel nahi. Yeh change hamare country ke liye bahut important hai kyunki humara focus hai imported crude oil par reliance kam karna.

Blending Ke Naye Targets Set

Government ne clear targets bhi set kar diye hain SAF ke liye. 2027 tak 1% blending ka target hai, aur 2030 tak ise badha kar 2-5% karne ka plan hai. Yeh ek phased approach hai jo dikhata hai ki hum green aviation fuels ko adopt karne ke liye serious hain, chahe SAF abhi traditional jet fuel se mehnga hi kyun na ho.

Policy Ka Economic Asar Kya Hoga?

Airlines kehti hain ki SAF, traditional ATF se zyada costly hai. Lekin, is policy se India ka jo bada oil import bill hai, woh kam ho sakta hai. Isse local biofuel production ko bhi boost milega aur hamare environmental goals bhi achieve honge.
