Toh bhaiyon aur behno, Epic Energy Limited ne ekdum solid move liya hai. Unhone REFNIC (jo Zetrance Technology Private Limited ka brand hai) ke saath haath milaya hai, taaki woh lithium-ion battery recycling aur unki second-life applications mein ghus sakein. Yeh deal SUN LLP naam ke ek Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) ke through ho rahi hai.
REFNIC ka kaam hoga Wada, Maharashtra mein banne wale naye shredding facility aur second-life battery assembly plant ka design aur engineering sambhalna. Yeh facility ek mahine mein ~10 MWh tak ki second-life batteries assemble kar paayegi. Aur shredding ki baat karein toh, yeh black-mass banane ke liye 500 kg/hour tak lithium-ion batteries ko process kar sakegi. Isse end-of-life batteries ka sustainable management hoga aur circular economy ko boost milega. Company ka model future-proof ho jayega aur ESG goals bhi poore honge.
Abhi sab kuch smooth nahi hai. Is poore venture ki success regulatory approvals par depend karti hai, REFNIC dwara design aur engineering ka kaam time par finish hone par depend karta hai, aur sabse important, commercial viability pe. Battery chemistry aur hazardous materials ko handle karna bhi ek bada challenge hoga.
Investors ko ab Wada facility ke setup aur commissioning par nazar rakhni hogi. Dekhna hoga ki processing capacity kaise ramp up hoti hai, black-mass extraction process kitna efficient hai, aur second-life battery applications kaise integrate hote hain. Agar company is platform ko domestic aur international level par expand kar paati hai, toh yeh ek long-term success story ban sakti hai.
