Samsung ki nayi strategy kya hai?
Samsung ab global manufacturing network mein India ko top priority de raha hai. Company apne production ka focus Vietnam jaise countries se hata kar India ki taraf shift kar rahi hai. Iske peeche sabse bada reason hai sarkar ki ₹62,300 Crore wali PLI (Production-Linked Incentive) scheme.
Inception ka game samjhein
Is scheme ke under, company ko incremental sales par 2.5% se lekar 5% tak ka incentive mil sakta hai. Agar Samsung display modules, batteries aur cables jaise components India mein hi source karta hai, toh unhe extra 1.5% ka incentive aur milega. Sarkar ka target hai ki agle 5 saalon mein domestic value addition 40% se 45% tak pahunch jaye.
Kya risks hain?
Sab kuch itna simple nahi hai. Global market mein memory chip ki prices abhi bhi kaafi high hain, jo margins par pressure bana rahi hain. Global demand mein uncertainty ke kaaran Samsung abhi thoda phoonk-phoonk kar kadam rakh raha hai. Agar demand nahi badhi, toh company capacity expansion ke bajaye sirf cost-cutting par focus kar sakti hai.
Investors ko company ke capital spending plans par nazar rakhni chahiye, kyunki ye government benefits lene ke liye annual growth targets meet karna zaroori hai.
