Rupee Ki Girti Hui Kadi

Indian Rupee lagatar girta ja raha hai aur multi-month lows ko touch kar raha hai. Iska sabse bada reason hai Middle East mein badhti hui tension, jiski wajah se crude oil prices bhi sky-rocket ho rahi hain. India toh oil import karta hai, isliye ab do tarah se maar pad rahi hai - ek toh currency weak ho gayi, aur upar se fuel ke daam badh gaye.

RBI Ke Paas Hai Bahut Reserves, Par Kya Kare?

India ke paas foreign exchange reserves bahut zyada hain, around $697 billion, jo currency ko stable rakhne ke liye kaafi hai. Lekin Madan Sabnavis jaise economists keh rahe hain ki RBI ko interfere nahi karna chahiye. Unka kehna hai ki agar Rupee ko girne diya jaaye toh exports ko boost milega aur import kam hoga. Former IMF deputy managing director Gita Gopinath bhi yahi keh rahi hain ki reserves kharch karne se accha hai ki currency ko apna kaam karne diya jaye.

Exports Ko Fayda, Imports Ka Nuksan?

Jab Rupee weak hota hai, toh Indian exports globally saste ho jaate hain aur foreign buyers zyada attract hote hain. Lekin India toh import-dependent country hai, isliye essential cheezon ka price ghar mein badh jata hai. Jaise mobile chips aur edible oils. Sabnavis ne bataya ki 5% Rupee depreciation se hi in imports ke daam pehle hi badh chuke hain.

Economic Issues Bhi Hai Wajah

Rupee ke girne se foreign travel aur gold imports pe bhi asar pad raha hai. PM Narendra Modi ne bhi logo se kaha hai ki in kharchon ko kam karein. Ye sab dekh kar lagta hai ki India ke balance of payments mein bhi structural issues hain. Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) Indian stocks aur bonds se paisa nikal rahe hain kyunki unko kahin aur better opportunities dikh rahi hain, aur shayad India ki market valuations bhi unko mehngi lag rahi hain. Upar se Indian companies bhi abroad mein zyada invest kar rahi hain. Economists ka kehna hai ki 2017 se FDI policies bhi strict hain, jo foreign investment ko rok rahi hain. Need hai reforms ki taaki domestic consumption aur production badhe.
