Toh hua kya hai ki iss baar budget mein government ne bada game plan bataya hai. Desh ko service-centric economy se nikaal kar seedha 'strategic industrial power' banane ka target rakha hai. Focus hai aise sectors par jahan entry karna mushkil hai, jaise ki semiconductors, AI, aur biologics. Plain manufacturing se nikal kar ab deep-tech aur design mein bhi aage badhna hai.
Iske liye paisa bhi daal rahe hain, jaise 'Electronics Initiative' (ISM 2.0) ke liye ₹40,000 Crore nikal gaye hain, taaki hum sirf assemble karne wale nahi, balki designer aur manufacturer banein. Phir 'Biopharma SHAKTI' initiative hai jo high-value biologics pe dhyan dega. Regulatory bodies ko bhi strong kar rahe hain.
Ab bhai, yeh semiconductors wala sector bohot mushkil hai. Hum Tawan aur China ko takkar dene ki soch rahe hain, par sach toh yeh hai ki woh log bohot aage hain. Sirf TSMC ka hi global market share 61% hai chip manufacturing mein, aur hum abhi shuruat kar rahe hain. India Semiconductor Mission 2.0 se ecosystem banane ki koshish hai, jisme equipment, materials sab cover hoga.
AI aur cloud computing mein bhi situation same hai. Global companies ko India mein data centers use karne par 20 saal tak tax holiday de rahe hain taaki India sovereign cloud aur AI hub ban sake. Par US aur China ka bhi toh apna hi zor hai AI mein. IndiaAI Mission ke liye $1 billion se zyada ka outlay hai, par compute capacity aur research mein abhi bhi challenges hain.
High-tech ke alawa, jo labor-intensive industries hain, unko bhi price competition se hatakar 'niche differentiation' par focus karne ko bola gaya hai, especially China ke against. Technical textiles aur advanced man-made fibers pe kaam hoga. Aur ek bada move hai Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) mein. Iske liye ₹20,000 Crore ($2.2 billion) 5 saal ke liye alag rakhe gaye hain. Yeh ek tarah se EU ke Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) jaisi policies ke liye defensive move hai, jo Indian exports par carbon tariffs laga sakte hain. CCUS ka aim hai hard-to-abate industries ko clean karna, par iske costs bohot high hain, $40 se $150 per ton CO2 tak.
Abhi sab kuch agenda par toh achha lag raha hai, par asli sawaal toh execution ka hai. Yeh pura plan government ke incentives par bohot depend karta hai, jaise PLIs, tax holidays, financial support. Agar market response slow raha ya competition aur badh gaya toh fiscally yeh sustainable nahi hoga. History bhi dekho toh India mein industrial policies ke execution mein kaafi gaps aur delays rahe hain.
Semiconductors mein toh hum decades peeche hain Taiwan aur China se, itna paisa daalne ke baad bhi immediate impact mushkil hai. CCUS kaafi strategic hai CBAM ke liye, par costs renewable energy se bohot zyada hain. Agar sahi se integrate nahi hua toh mehange, underutilized assets ban sakte hain. Aur haan, demographic dividend ka fayda uthane ke liye healthcare, employment, gender empowerment policies bhi sahi honi chahiye, jo hamesha nahi hui hain.
Overall, India ka AI aur cloud services mein global hub banne ka plan hai, jisme talent pool aur digital infrastructure ka fayda uthane ki koshish hai. MSMEs ko bhi equity funding aur credit access se help karne ki baat hai taaki woh global value chains mein aa sakein. Ab dekhte hain ki government ka yeh vision kitna achha implement hota hai aur hum global market mein kitni competent ban paate hain. Challenges toh bade hain, par intent clear hai.
