Toh hua kya hai, National Toll Collections FY26 mein ₹82,900.16 Crore tak pahunch gaye hain, jo FY25 ke ₹72,930.83 Crore se 14% zyada hai. Iska poora credit digital payments aur FASTag ko jaata hai. NPCI ne bataya ki FASTag transactions mein 5.7% ki growth hui hai, jo lagbhag 4.45 billion ho gayi hai FY26 mein, FY25 ke 4.21 billion se. Maheene ki collection bhi badhi hai, February ke ₹6,924.57 Crore se March mein ₹7,193 Crore ho gaya commercial vehicles se.
Ye numbers aise hi nahi aaye hain. Pichle 8 saal mein toll collection 3 guna se bhi zyada ho gaya hai, FY19 ke ₹25,164.50 Crore se ab ₹82,900.16 Crore tak pahunch gaye. Sadkon ka network bhi double ho gaya hai, ab 55,812 km ho gaya hai November 2025 tak, jo FY19 mein sirf 26,067 km tha. Sarkar ne bhi road infrastructure par kharcha 6.4 guna badha diya hai FY14 se FY25 ke beech. Average highway construction speed bhi 30 km per day se upar chal rahi hai. Analysts ka kehna hai ki FY26 mein bhi 7-9% ki growth milegi, aur traffic bhi 4-5% badhega. GDP growth 6.5% aur inflation control mein rehne se bhi help milegi.
Abhi toh aur bhi mazedaar cheezein hone wali hain! April 1, 2026 se sabhi toll plazas par 100% digital payment compulsory ho gaya hai, matlab cash ko bye-bye. FASTag ke baad, ab AI-based toll collection aur multi-lane free-flow (MLFF) highways aa rahi hain, jo 2026 ke end tak fully implement ho jayengi. Ye ANPR aur satellite technology se wait time kam hoga, fuel bachega aur revenue bhi ₹6,000 Crore tak badh sakta hai, saath hi fuel mein ₹1,500 Crore bachenge.
Lekin sab kuch itna smooth nahi hai. Real road construction thoda slow ho gaya hai. FASTag ka use sirf toll tak hi seemit hai, baaki cheezon mein utni growth nahi dikh rahi. ANPR systems se privacy ki chinta hai aur staff ko bhi naye tech ke liye train karna padega.
Phir bhi, overall picture strong hai. Infrastructure mein lagaya hua har ₹1, GDP ko ₹3.21 tak badhata hai. India ka plan bada hai, aur projected infrastructure investment FY29 tak GDP ka 6.5% hone ka hai. Private companies bhi InvITs ke through paisa laga rahi hain. Toh road infrastructure aur economy ka connection saaf dikh raha hai, aur toll collection badhta rahega.
