Indian companies ke paas March 2026 tak **₹18.7 lakh crore** ($200 billion) cash hai. Reliance Industries jaise bade players lead kar rahe hain. Iska matlab hai ki companies ab safety ko zyada importance de rahi hain expansion se. Ye investors ke liye accha hai ya bura? Chalo dekhte hain.

Kya hua?

Indian companies ekdum cash se bhar gayi hain! March 2026 tak, Nifty 500 index mein shamil companies (banks aur insurance firms ko chhod kar) $200 billion ya lagbhag ₹18.7 lakh crore cash rakhe hue hain. Ye pichhle saal se 12% zyada hai. Paisa toh kama rahe hain companies, par naye factories lagane ya business badhane mein kharch nahi kar rahe. Bas ek safety net bana rahe hain. Pichhle teen saal se lagatar growth ke baad, cash reserves saalana 13% ke hisaab se badh rahe hain.

Companies Cash Kyun Rok Rahi Hain?

Jab future uncertain lagta hai, toh businesses zyada cash rakhte hain. Iss 'wait-and-see' approach ke peeche kai reasons hain. Duniya bhar mein chal rahe geopolitical tensions aur dheemi maang (sluggish demand) ki wajah se companies bade projects par risk lene se katra rahi hain. Cash rakh kar, woh expansion se zyada safety choose kar rahi hain. Iske alawa, kai companies ne dividend kam kar diya hai, jisse paisa company ke andar hi reh raha hai. Balance sheet mazboot ho rahi hai, par yeh investors ko yeh bhi signal de sakta hai ki management ko filhaal naye investments par achha return dikhai nahi de raha.

Bade Players Sabse Aage

Reliance Industries sabse zyada cash rakhne wali company hai, jiske paas fiscal year 2026 ke end mein ₹2.43 lakh crore the. Uske baad Larsen & Toubro aur Coal India hain. Ye teeno milkar lagbhag 20% total cash hold karte hain. Wipro, Mahindra & Mahindra, InterGlobe Aviation, Tata Motors, Hindustan Aeronautics, aur Tata Consultancy Services jaise bade naam bhi ₹46,000 crore se ₹54,000 crore tak cash rakhe hue hain. Yeh trend kisi ek sector tak simit nahi hai, balki poore Indian industries mein dikh raha hai.

Debt Ka Paradox

Moodde ki baat yeh hai ki cash reserves badh rahe hain, par corporate debt kam nahi hua hai. Companies ka total gross debt 7% saalana badh kar ₹48.9 lakh crore ho gaya hai. Yeh thoda contradictory lag sakta hai ki companies ek taraf itna cash rakh rahi hain aur doosri taraf debt bhi liye hue hain. Lekin bade corporations ke liye yeh ek strategic move hai. Cash hone se company flexible rehti hai, roz ka kharch chala sakti hai, ya koi acquisition opportunity milne par turant action le sakti hai. Jab tak company interest payments manage kar sakti hai, tab tak debt aur cash ka yeh combination bahari funding par nirbhar hue bina financial stability maintain karne ka ek tareeka hai.

Investors Isse Kaise Dekhein?

Investors ke liye, yeh trend do tarah ki picture dikhata hai. Ek taraf, mazboot cash position ek shock absorber ki tarah kaam karti hai. Agar economy aur dheemi hui ya koi achanak crisis aaya, toh yeh companies high interest par borrow karne ki bajaye survive karne ke liye behtar position mein hongi. Doosri taraf, bank account mein pada cash aksar kisi profitable new factory ya business line mein invest kiye gaye paise se kam earn karta hai. Agar companies bina expansion ke is paisa ko zyada time tak rok ke rakhti hain, toh yeh unke future profit growth ko limit kar sakta hai. Shareholders aksar cash ko growth, dividends, ya share buybacks ke liye use hote hue dekhna pasand karte hain.

Investors Ko Kya Track Karna Chahiye?

Aage chal kar, investors ke liye sabse important yeh dekhna hoga ki yeh cash kahan use hota hai. Agar companies bade investments ya capacity expansion ke liye nayi projects announce karna shuru karti hain, toh yeh signal ho sakta hai ki management maang ko lekar zyada confident hai. Agar woh growth plans ke bina cash jama karti rehti hain, toh investors badhte dividends ya share buybacks ke signs dhoondh sakte hain. Quarterly results ke dauran management ke commentary par nazar rakho, kyunki woh batayenge ki kya woh is cash ko kharch karne ka plan kar rahe hain ya ise ek defensive measure ke taur par rakhna jari rakhenge.
