Kahaani Puraani Hai, Lekin Asar Zyada!
Oil companies ne pichhle lagbhag 10 hafte se global crude prices badhne ke bawajood losses ko absorb karne ki poori koshish ki thi. Lekin ab Iran conflict aur geopolitical tensions ki wajah se jo situation bani hai, usse ye losses control karna mushkil ho gaya hai. Isi wajah se, retail prices mein yeh adjustment karna pada.
Dekho Kahan Kitna Badha:
- Delhi: Petrol Rs 0.87 badhkar Rs 98.64 aur diesel Rs 0.91 badhkar Rs 91.58 ho gaya.
- Mumbai: Petrol Rs 0.91 badhkar Rs 107.59 aur diesel Rs 0.94 badhkar Rs 94.08 ho gaya.
- Kolkata: Petrol Rs 0.96 badhkar Rs 109.70 aur diesel Rs 0.94 badhkar Rs 96.07 ho gaya.
- Chennai: Petrol Rs 0.82 aur diesel Rs 0.86 badha.
Global Factors Ka Game!
Is sabke peeche ka sabse bada reason hai West Asia mein chal raha conflict. Isne global crude oil supply chain ko kaafi disturb kar diya hai. India, jo apna most oil import karta hai, toh direct affect ho raha hai rising international crude prices se. Apne crude oil basket ki average price $69.01 se $110.73 per barrel ho gayi thi May 15 tak, jo ki $41.72 ka bada jump yaani 60.45% rise tha.
Aur ek badi dikkat hai Strait of Hormuz ko lekar, jo India ke oil aur LPG ke liye ek crucial shipping route hai. U.S.-Iran tensions ne shipping activity ko affect kiya aur import costs ko upar pahuncha diya. Iske upar se, apna Indian Rupee bhi dollar ke saamne weak ho kar Rs 96 ke level par aa gaya hai. Toh jitna bhi dollar-priced import hai, jaise crude oil, woh aur zyada mehenga ho gaya hai.
Aage Kya? Inflation Ka Khatra!
Yeh fuel price hike pakka inflation ko aur badhaega aur transport costs bhi badhayega. Commercial vehicles aur public transport ke operating expenses badhenge toh zaroori cheezon ke rates bhi upar jayenge. Alag se, Delhi-NCR mein CNG prices bhi recently upar gayi hain, jisse Delhi mein ab Rs 80.09 per kg ho gayi hai. Experts warn kar rahe hain ki agar global crude oil prices aise hi high rahin, toh domestic fuel prices mein aur bhi hikes ho sakte hain.
