Toh hua yun ki Varun Beverages (VBL) ne final dividend announce kar diya hai. Record date rakha hai April 8 aur paisa investors ke account mein April 10 tak aa jayega. Dividend hai ₹0.50 per equity share ka. Jaise hi yeh news aayi, stock market mein khushi ki lehar daud gayi. VBL ka share closing price ₹401.80 par hua, jo ki 4.60% ka jabardast jump hai. Socho, Nifty 50 toh sirf 1.56% hi badha tha!

Yeh valuation Jubilant FoodWorks (P/E 55) aur Devyani International (P/E 45) jaisi companies ke barabar hai. Problem yeh hai ki VBL ka P/E kaafi high hai. Brokers ko lagta hai ki ho sakta hai volume growth itni tez na ho ki is current high valuation ko justify kar paye. Upri baat yeh hai ki Indian FMCG sector mein bhi growth thoda slow ho raha hai, lagbhag 6-8% saalana. Africa mein expansion risky ho sakta hai, jisme geopolitical issues aur execution challenges ho sakte hain. Agar volume growth slow hua ya international expansion mein problems aayi, toh yeh high valuation bahut mehnga pad sakta hai.
