West Asia Conflict ka Seedha Impact!

Arey yaar, March 2026 mein India energy market mein ek ajeeb hi scene dekha gaya. Jidhar ek taraf LPG ka demand gir gaya, udhar petrol aur diesel ki demand zoom kar gayi. Yeh sab West Asia mein chal rahe conflict ki wajah se hua, jisne imports ke raste band kar diye. Oil Ministry ke PPAC ke data ne dikhaya ki LPG consumption mein 12.8% ki badi girawat aayi, jo 2.729 million tonnes se 2.379 million tonnes par aa gaya.

Commercial Users ka Bura Haal

Sabse zyada dikkat commercial users ko hui. Strait of Hormuz, jo India ke 60% LPG imports ka main route hai, wahan problems badh gayi. Government ne gharon ki supply ko priority di, toh commercial users ki sales 48% tak gir gayi, aur bulk LPG sales toh 75.5% tak kam ho gayi! Gharwalon ki LPG sales bhi 8.1% kam hui.

Domestic Production Badhaya Gaya

Is shortage ko face karne ke liye, Indian refineries ko kaha gaya ki woh LPG production badhayein. March 2026 mein domestic LPG production 1.4 million tonnes tak pahunch gaya, jo pichhle saal 1.1 million tonnes tha. Isliye, poore fiscal year 2025-26 mein total domestic production 13.1 million tonnes raha. Fiscal year ke liye overall LPG consumption 6% badhkar 33.212 million tonnes ho gaya.

Petrol Aur Diesel Ki Toofani Tezi

Wahi, dusri taraf petrol aur diesel ki demand ekdum mast rahi. March mein petrol sales 7.6% badh kar 3.78 million tonnes ho gayi, aur diesel consumption 8.1% badh kar 8.727 million tonnes pahunch gaya. Yeh dikhata hai ki economic activity abhi bhi acchi chal rahi hai, shayad stable prices ki wajah se. Poore fiscal year mein petrol 6.5% aur diesel 3.6% badha. ATF demand flat raha.

Import Par Dependence: Bada Risk!

India ki sabse badi problem yehi hai ki hum energy imports par bahut depend karte hain – crude oil ka 88-90% aur LPG ka 60%. West Asia mein jab bhi tension badhti hai, khaas kar Strait of Hormuz ke aas paas, toh economy mein price swings aur supply shocks ka risk badh jata hai. India ke paas sirf 20 din ka strategic LPG reserve hai, jo ki bahut kam hai. Agar conflict lamba chala toh prices badh sakti hain aur government ke liye bhi mushkil ho sakti hai.
