Gold, Silver Import Duty: Budget 2026 ka bada shock, Prices mein laga tagda jatka!
Overview

Arre yaaron, Budget 2026 mein sarkar ne gold aur silver par import duty bilkul nahi badli hai. Logon ko laga tha ki kuch relief milega, par aisa hua nahi aur ab dekho, in precious metals ki prices seedha neeche gir gayi hain.

Budget ka Faisla: Duty Wahi ki Wahi

So, Budget 2026 mein jo sabse badi khabar aayi precious metals ke liye, woh ye hai ki gold aur silver par jo customs duty chal rahi thi, wohi continue hogi. Matlab, eligible Indian residents ke liye gold par 6% ka levy (jismein 5% basic customs duty aur 1% agri cess hai) bilkul same hai. Silver ke liye bhi eligible residents par 6% hi hai, baaki logon ke liye 36% hai. Aur haan, sab par 3% GST toh lag hi raha hai.

Pehle Ki Thi Chhuti, Ab Nahi!

Yaad hai, July 2024 mein sarkar ne gold ki duty 15% se kam karke 6% kar di thi? Is baar Budget mein koi change nahi aaya, aur ye kaafi surprising tha kyunki market ko lag raha tha ki kuch relief milega.

Prices Mein Badi Giraavat

Ab is decision ka asar seedha prices par dikha. Gold jo pehle ₹1,82,500 ke max level par tha, woh ab gir kar ₹1,47,800 ke aas-paas aa gaya hai. Matlab, lagbhag 20% ki giraavat. Silver ka toh aur bhi bura haal hua, jo ₹4,20,000 se gir kar ₹2,65,650 par aa gaya. Yeh 36% ki badi giraavat hai.

Experts Kya Keh Rahe Hain?

LKP Securities ke Jateen Trivedi bhi keh rahe hain ki Budget mein import duty mein koi update na hone ki wajah se hi yeh negative movement aaya hai. Upar se, pehle se thoda pressure toh CME futures mein chal hi raha tha. Market ko lagta tha ki duty kam hogi, aur jab aisa nahi hua toh sabne bechna shuru kar diya.

Aage Kya?

Analysts keh rahe hain ki ab gold aur silver ki prices primarily global factors, international politics, aur RBI ki policies par depend karegi, na ki import duty mein koi emergency change hone par.
