Toh suno, Tata Chemicals ne apne salt business ko aur mazboot karne ke liye ek dum solid move mara hai. Unhone ₹515 crore lagane ka plan banaya hai ek naye greenfield manufacturing facility ke liye, jo Iodised Vacuum Salt Dried (IVSD) products banayegi. Ye plant Tamil Nadu ke Ramanathapuram district ke Valinokkam mein banega aur iski capacity 210 Kilo Tons Per Annum (KTPA) hogi. Poora project lagbhag 36 mahine mein complete hone ka target hai.
Ye plant Mithapur, Gujarat mein jo existing 1.6 million tonnes per annum capacity wala plant hai, uske baad company ka dusra bada hub banega. Asal maksad hai ki production ko South India ke markets ke paas laya ja sake, taaki supply chain aur bhi smooth ho jaye aur logistics ka kharcha bhi kam ho. Isse distribution network bhi behtar hoga aur region ki demand ko seedha poora kiya ja sakega.
Basically, company apne core business pe pura focus kar rahi hai aur growth opportunities pakad rahi hai. Production base ko diversify karke, company ek mazboot manufacturing setup bana rahi hai, jisse cost competition mein rahegi aur supply bhi consistently maintain hogi. Ye initiative South India ke industrial development mein bhi contribute karega.
Abhi funding ki baat karein toh, company ya toh apne internal funds use karegi ya phir external financing legi. Investors ko is project ki progress par dhyan dena chahiye, kyunki agar 36 mahine ke construction period mein koi delay aata hai toh timeline change ho sakti hai. Lekin achhi baat ye hai ki salt ki demand hamesha solid rehti hai, chahe woh gharon mein use ho ya phir glass aur detergent jaisi industries mein. Toh ye expansion future ke liye ek well-planned step lag raha hai.
