Haldia Petrochemicals Limited (HPL) ne apna naya Phenol aur Acetone plant West Bengal mein inaugurate kar diya hai. Is project ko company ki subsidiary Adperma Private Limited ne handle kiya hai, jisme total ₹6,000 Crore ka investment laga hai. Ye India ka ab tak ka sabse bada facility hai.
Production aur Import par asar
Is plant ki capacity 345,000 tonnes Phenol aur 215,000 tonnes Acetone produce karne ki hai har saal. Ab tak India in chemicals ke liye bahar ke deshon par depend karta tha, lekin ab local production badhne se imports mein bhari kami aayegi. Ye chemicals pharma aur plastic industries ke liye bahut zaroori hote hain.
Debt aur Financial Health
HPL ek unlisted company hai, isliye iske shares market mein trade nahi hote. Lekin, company ke debt securities market mein active hain.
