Lekin banks ka kehna hai ki yeh sab normal commercial dealings thi aur loan amount ka 116% tak recover ho gaya hai, isliye koi 'roving inquiry' ki zaroorat nahi hai. Par Supreme Court ne, jisme Chief Justice Surya Kant bhi hain, unhone ek dum saaf kar diya hai ki public sector banks public funds manage karti hain. Unki 'commercial wisdom' ko public interest ke khilaaf jaakar zaroor check kiya jayega. Court ne sabhi relevant records, jaise bank reports aur poori loan details, sab pesh karne ko kaha hai. Yeh dikhata hai ki agar public funds ka galat istemal ho raha hai, toh sirf paisa wapas karne se baat nahi banegi.

Yeh sab tab ho raha hai jab Indian banking sector kaafi mazboot ho gaya hai. NPAs (Non-Performing Assets) kam hokar 2.1% par aa gaye hain (late 2025 tak) aur recovery rates bhi badh gaye hain. Bank of Maharashtra ki market cap ₹50,320 Cr ke aas paas hai aur PNB ki ₹1.42 Lakh Cr. Toh sector toh acha kar raha hai.

Hospitality Sector Aur Naya Deal

Dusri taraf, India ka hospitality sector bhi taabadtod growth kar raha hai. Umeed hai ki 2031 tak yeh USD 55.67 billion tak pahunch jayega, jisme 14.76% ki CAGR dikh rahi hai, aur occupancy rates 70% tak jaane ki ummeed hai. Isi bich, Asian Hotels (North) Limited, jo Hyatt Regency Delhi chalati hai, usme February 4, 2026 ko Elana Holdings PTE. LTD. ne ₹90 crore se zyada ka stake kharida hai. Yeh company ki operational value par confidence dikhata hai. Par ab Supreme Court ka yeh maamla hotel valuation aur OTS practices par ek nayi roshni daal sakta hai.
