RBI ne banks aur NBFCs ke liye naye cybersecurity rules jari kiye hain taaki AI-driven threats ko roka ja sake. Iske saath hi, central bank ne confirm kiya hai ki FCNR deposits ki repayment ke liye forex reserves bilkul safe aur strong hain.
Artificial Intelligence ke badhte khatron ko dekhte hue RBI ab poore financial sector ki security ko tight kar raha hai. Central bank ne sabhi Banks aur NBFCs ko saaf bol diya hai ki woh apne audit cycles ko tez karein aur security patches jaldi implement karein. Yeh kadam isliye uthaya gaya hai kyunki aane wale waqt mein autonomous AI agents purani security layers ko bypass karke unauthorized commands de sakte hain.
Mandatory Cyber Audits ka asar
Cyberattacks ab aur zyada advanced ho rahe hain, isliye regulator ab proactive mode mein hai. Banks aur NBFCs ko ab software vulnerabilities ko exploit hone se pehle hi fix karna hoga. Investors ke liye iska matlab hai ki banks ko IT infrastructure aur security team par kharcha badhana pad sakta hai. Halanki yeh customer data ke liye achha hai, lekin agle kuch quarters mein management ka focus operational costs par zyada rahega.
Forex Reserves aur FCNR Repayments par update
Ek taraf jahan security ki chinta hai, wahi RBI ne economy ko lekar bharosa bhi diya hai. FCNR (Foreign Currency Non-Resident) deposits ke repayment ko lekar market mein jo uncertainty thi, us par RBI ne kaha ki hamare paas USD 132.98 Billion ka buffer hai. Deposits ka average maturity period 4 saal se zyada hai, isliye reserves kaafi hain.
Service exports aur remittances ki achhi raftaar ke karan hamara balance of payments strong bana hua hai. Investors ke liye yeh ek bada sign hai ki banking system kisi bhi liquidity pressure ko jhelne ke liye taiyaar hai.
