BFSI Sector: Geopolitics aur Savings badlav ke beech bhi, India ka financial sector solid hai!
Overview

Lo bhai, veteran Deepak Parekh ne clear kar diya hai ki India ka BFSI sector na, global geopolitics ke chakkar mein zyada nahi hilne wala. Haan, loan growth thoda slow ho sakta hai short-term mein, par banks ke paas paisa hai aur public ki savings bhi support kar rahi hai. Par naye challenges bhi hain, jaise logo ki investment karne ka tarika badal raha hai aur AI ka game bhi aa gaya hai.

Global mein jitni bhi tensions chal rahi hain, unka asar India ke BFSI sector par bahut kam hoga, aisa Parekh sir keh rahe hain. Haan, yeh ho sakta hai ki short term mein loan dene ka pace thoda dheema pad jaye.

Is sector ko mazboot bana rahe hain iska strong capitalization aur mutual fund SIPs se aa raha paisa. Aapko pata hai na, foreign investors apna paisa nikal rahe hain, almost USD 12 billion nikal gaye hain 2026 ke pehle 4 mahine mein, lekin apna desi paisa usko compensate kar raha hai. Toh system stable hai.

Banks bol rahi hain ki 2026 ke pehle half mein credit growth 11% se 13% ke beech rahega. Par cyber security risks ka dhyan rakhna padega.

Naye investment ke raste bhi khul rahe hain. Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) kaafi popular ho rahe hain. Inse developers ko apna paisa mil raha hai aur tenants ko rental preference mil raha hai. Office spaces ki demand bhi badh rahi hai. Is REIT segment se ₹670–710 billion tak ka monetization ho sakta hai.

Lekin ek problem hai, India mein insurance penetration abhi bhi bahut kam hai, sirf 3.7% FY25 mein, jabki global average 7.3% hai. Tax benefits hatne ke baad toh growth aur slow ho gaya hai.

Aur ek bada shift aa raha hai logon ke savings mein. Retail investors ab zyada paisa mutual fund SIPs mein daal rahe hain, bank deposits ko chhod kar. Isse banks ka deposit jama karne ka model thoda mushkil ho sakta hai aur unke profit margins par bhi asar pad sakta hai. Indian Bank toh bol raha hai ki FY27 mein margins kam ho sakte hain.

Financial services mein foreign investors aur bade Indian groups ki bhi kaafi interest dikh rahi hai. Government policies mein badlav karke banking mein 49% tak FDI allowed karne ka soch rahi hai.

Aur bhai, Artificial Intelligence (AI) ka game toh ab har jagah hai. Banking mein bhi yeh sabse aage aane wala hai. AI se lending, risk management, customer service sab improve hoga. Operational costs 20-30% tak kam ho sakte hain. State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, aur ICICI Bank jaise banks toh already AI use kar rahe hain fraud detection aur customer engagement ke liye.

Par kuch challenges hain jinpar nazar rakhni hogi. Insurance ki low penetration, cybersecurity ke threats aur global conflicts se remittance inflows par asar. HDFC Bank ka stock May 5, 2026 ko thoda girel tha volume ke saath, jo signs de raha hai ki shayad selling ho rahi hai.

Overall, sab theek lag raha hai. Goldman Sachs bol raha hai ki India ki GDP 2026 mein 6.9% grow karegi. Indian Bank ke liye bhi brokers ka sentiment 'Buy' wala hai. AI aur savings ke badlav ke saath adjust karna hi success ki key hai.
