Tata.ev ne apne Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program ko expand kar diya hai. Ab Nexon.ev aur Curvv.ev jaise models ke liye bhi battery ko car se alag finance karwana easy hoga, jisse upfront cost kafi kam ho jayegi.
Game changer move!
Tata.ev ne apni sales strategy mein bada badlav kiya hai. Pehle ye BaaS model sirf entry-level cars jaise Tiago.ev aur Punch.ev tak limit tha, par ab company ne ise Nexon.ev aur Curvv.ev jaise premium SUVs tak expand kar diya hai. Iska simple matlab ye hai ki ab customer car ki body ke liye alag aur battery ke liye alag loan le sakte hain, jo car ki initial price ko kaafi niche le aayega.
Market mein competition ki race
EV market mein competition tezi se badh raha hai. MG Motor jaise players pehle hi battery rental schemes laa chuke hain, isliye Tata ab apni leadership bachane ke liye aggressive ho rahi hai. Ye sirf sales badhane ki koshish nahi hai, balki price-sensitive customers ko apni taraf khinchne ka masterstroke hai.
Investors ke liye kya hai insight?
Is move ke do pehlu hain:
- Sales Volume: Kam upfront price se bookings toh badh sakti hain, par demand ka sustain hona zaroori hai.
- Financial Risk: Battery alag finance hone se car ki resale value aur second-hand market ka calculation thoda complex ho jayega. Saath hi, banking partners aur company ke captive finance arms par bhi asset-liability ka pressure rahega.
Agli few quarters mein ye dekhna hoga ki kya ye financing model company ki profitability aur market share ko wapas track par la pata hai.
