PLI Certification Ka Kamaal?

- Bajaj Auto Number 2 par hai, 270,000 units ke saath ( 43.0% growth).
- Aur Ather Energy bhi 201,000 units bech kar Number 3 par hai.
Fiscal year 2026 ke numbers toh aur bhi clear hain: TVS Motor ne 341,471 units ( 24.3% market share) beche, Bajaj Auto ne 288,866 units ( 20.6% share) aur Ather Energy ne 239,124 units ( 17% share) beche. Matlab, Ola Electric kaafi peeche reh gayi hai.
Price Cut Kiya, Par Loss Bhi Hua
Is situation se nikalne ke liye, Ola Electric ne apne high-capacity Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh model ki price ko ₹1,89,999 se ghatakar ₹1,29,999 kar diya hai. Aim toh yahi hai ki demand badhe, par company ke numbers kuch aur hi keh rahe hain. Ola Electric ne December 2025 quarter mein ₹32 crore ka net loss report kiya hai. Iske muqable mein, Bajaj Auto ki EV division toh double-digit EBITDA margins kama rahi hai, jo profitability dikhata hai.
PLI Scheme: Sabke Liye Hai Ya Kuch Ke Liye?
Chalo, yeh PLI Scheme ki baat karte hain, jismein ₹25,938 crore ka budget hai. Iska maksad India mein manufacturing badhana aur import kam karna hai. Yeh approved companies ko 13-16% ka cost advantage deti hai. Toh Ola ko fayda toh hai, par jo companies is scheme mein nahi hain, unke liye situation tough ho gayi hai. Ek study ne toh yeh bhi dikhaya hai ki non-PLI electric two-wheeler makers ki growth 400% se bhi neeche chali gayi hai. Aur ek zabardast point ye hai ki India ke 77% electric two-wheeler exports non-PLI models hain, iska matlab hai ki PLI benefits abhi domestic market share ke liye zyada hain, global reach ke liye kam.
Quality Issues Aur Service Ka Drama
Ola Electric ki sales girne ke peeche kuch aur reasons bhi hain jo sunne mein aa rahe hain. Jaise ki quality problems, service mein deri, aur gadiyon mein aag lagne ki ghatnayein. In sab cheezon se customers bahut pareshan hain aur complaints aa rahi hain. Jabki TVS aur Bajaj jaise established players ke paas ek strong service network hai jo customers ko support karta hai. Yahan tak ki Revolt Motors bhi IPO lane ki soch rahi hai, jo segment ka potential dikhata hai, par unki bhi March 2026 mein sales kam hui thi. Aage Ka Raasta: Mushkil Hai Magar Namumkin Nahi
India ka electric two-wheeler market abhi bhi grow kar raha hai. FY2026 mein 1.4 million units se zyada sales ho sakti hain aur total two-wheeler market mein iska share 6.54% ho jayega. Government ka target hai ki 2030 tak 30% sales EVs ki ho. Ola Electric ke liye aage ka rasta mushkil hai. Unhe apni quality aur service issues ko solve karna hoga aur un competitors se ladna hoga jo sales badha rahe hain, profit kama rahe hain aur apna network faila rahe hain. PLI certification ka asli fayda tab hi dikhega jab company sustained sales aur happy customers ke saath comeback karegi.
