JLR ke Solihull plant mein abhi production band hai kyunki parts ki shortage chal rahi hai. Isse parent company Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles par bhi asar pad raha hai. Saat mahine mein yeh doosri baar hai jab production mein gadbad hui hai, aur is baar ye halt Range Rover aur Range Rover Sport ke models ko affect kar raha hai.
Is khabar ke baad, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles ke shares seedha ₹301.10 ke 52-week low par gir gaye, BSE par ₹303.20 par close hue. Yeh 4.68% ki badi giravat thi, jabki Sensex toh sirf 2.25% gira tha. Aur yeh koi mamooli baat nahi hai, kyunki Solihull plant bahut important hai – Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles ke total turnover ka 75% se zyada yahin se aata hai.
Magar, JLR keh raha hai ki koi badi baat nahi. Company ne bola ki ye sirf 'short-term' problem hai aur isse unke 'overall operations' ya 'financial performance' par koi bada asar nahi padega. JLR ka spokesperson keh raha hai ki woh supplier ke saath milkar is issue ko jaldi solve karne ki koshish kar rahe hain, aur employees apna kaam pehle ki tarah hi karenge.
Pehle ki problems bhi yaad aa gayi. Yaad hai September 2025 mein ek bade cyberattack ne JLR ke computer systems ko char hafton tak band kar diya tha, jiske karan lagbhag 50,000 units ka production loss hua tha. Aise events dikhate hain ki global supply chains kitni vulnerable hoti hain aur kaise choti si problem bhi bade stocks ko hila sakti hai.
