India EV Subsidy: E-Scooter & E-Rickshaw Owners, Suno! Naye Rules Aur Deadlines Aa Gaye
Overview

Lo bhaiyo, India mein electric vehicles ki subsidy ko lekar sarkaar ne naye rules laa diye hain. Ab se e-scooters aur e-rickshaws ke liye deadlines aur unit caps change ho gaye hain, taaki ₹10,900 crore ka fund achhe se manage ho sake.

Sarkaar ne PM E-DRIVE electric vehicle subsidy scheme ko update kiya hai. Iska matlab hai ki ab e-scooters aur e-rickshaws ke liye time limit aur kitne vehicles ko subsidy milegi, ye sab cheezein adjust ho gayi hain.

Basically, is ₹10,900 crore wale scheme ko behtar tarike se manage karne ke liye ye changes kiye gaye hain. Electric 2-wheelers, matlab e-scooters, ko July 31, 2026 tak subsidy milegi, aur total 2,479,120 units cover honge. Wahi, electric rickshaws aur carts ko March 31, 2028 tak support milega, lekin sirf 39,034 units ke liye.

Ab subsidy kitni milegi, ismein bhi changes hain. Current fiscal year (FY 2024-25) mein, electric 2-wheelers ke liye subsidy ₹5,000 per kWh hai, jo maximum ₹10,000 per vehicle tak ja sakti hai. Lekin April 2025 se July 2026 tak ye rate aadhi ho jayegi, matlab ₹2,500 per kWh, aur cap bhi ₹5,000 ho jayega. In vehicles ke liye max eligible price ₹1.5 lakh hai, aur iske liye ₹1,772 crore alag rakhe gaye hain.

Electric rickshaws aur carts ki baat karein toh FY 2024-25 mein subsidy ₹5,000 per kWh hai, jo maximum ₹25,000 per vehicle tak hai. March 2028 tak, ye rate ₹2,500 per kWh ho jayegi, aur cap ₹12,500 tak. Ye vehicles ₹2.5 lakh tak ke price limit mein aate hain, aur iske liye ₹50 crore alag se hain.

Is poore system ka goal hai ki funds time se pehle khatam na ho jaayein aur sabko consistent support mile. Agar deadlines se pehle paise khatam ho gaye, toh scheme ke woh hisse band kar diye jayenge aur koi naya claim accept nahi hoga. Matlab, paison ko carefully use karna hai taaki EV adoption ko boost milta rahe.
