Capital Infusion ka Plan kya hai?

Ashok Leyland ne announce kiya hai ki woh apni UK subsidiary Optare Plc mein GBP 30 million, jo ki lagbhag ₹375 Crore hote hain, invest karenge. Yeh paisa ek ya zyada baar mein equity ke through dala jayega, jiska main use loans chukana aur company ki doosri financial needs poori karna hoga. Yeh deal SEBI Listing Regulations ke hisab se approve ho gayi hai, aur isse Optare ki financial health aur operational capacity badhegi.

Optare ki EV Mission mein kya role hai?

Optare Plc UK mein buses aur commercial vehicles banati aur bechti hai. Yeh company group ke electric vehicle (EV) efforts ko bhi manage karti hai, jismein Switch Mobility Limited (UK) aur Switch Mobility Automotive Limited (India) bhi aate hain. March 31, 2025 tak, Optare ki consolidated revenue ₹1,232.59 Crore rahi thi. FY24 mein yeh ₹707.30 Crore aur FY23 mein ₹229.72 Crore thi, jo company ke business scale ko dikhati hai.

Regulatory side aur Stake Update

Yeh investment ek related party transaction hai kyunki Ashok Leyland ke promoter, Hinduja Automotive Limited, ka Optare Plc mein pehle se hi 6.52% stake hai. Abhi Ashok Leyland ka Optare mein 93% stake hai, jo is naye equity issue ke baad badh kar 93.28% ho jayega. Poori deal ek independent expert ki valuation report par based hai aur iske March 31, 2026 tak poori hone ki umeed hai.
