India Doodh Production: Mehngaai ka Double Attack! Farmers ko Paisa Kam, Doodh Kam.
Overview

Bhai log, ek badi problem aa gayi hai! Apne desh mein doodh ka production demand se kaafi peeche chal raha hai. Isliye doodh ke prices ₹2-₹5 tak badh gaye hain per litre, aur farm level pe toh **5** saal ka sabse high rate chal raha hai. Production growth bhi slow ho gaya hai.

Sabse pehla reason toh ye hai ki fodder ki bahut shortage hai, jiski wajah se cattle feed ka cost 35-40% badh gaya hai. Iske saath hi, climate change ki wajah se 'flush season' bhi chhota ho gaya hai. Aur pata hai, West Asia mein chal rahe maslon ke karan packaging material bhi mehnga ho gaya hai, jiska price 70% tak badh gaya hai!

Pehle doodh ka production saal mein 6-7% badhta tha, ab yeh 3.5%-3.78% pe aa gaya hai. Lekin demand toh ab bhi 6% ke rate se badh rahi hai, matlab gap aur badh raha hai. Yeh koi temporary problem nahi, lagatar chal rahi hai.

Bas itna hi nahi, farmers aksar low-quality feed istemaal karte hain. India ki cattle feed production capacity bhi required 120 million metric tonnes se kaafi kam hai.

Aur export mein bhi dikkat aa rahi hai. Labeling aur documentation ki galatiyon ke karan 57% se zyada shipments reject ho jati hain. European Union ne toh hormone aur feed standards ke karan koi bhi Indian dairy plant approve nahi kiya hai.

Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) ne toh alag hi barpa di hai. Saale 2022-23 mein isse USD 2.44 billion ka nuksan hua hai desh ko, jis se doodh kam ho gaya aur jaanwaron ki maut bhi badh gayi.

Isi beech, input costs global average se 10-15% zyada hain. Is wajah se young generation dairy farming mein interest nahi le rahi. Kaam karne wale kam ho gaye hain aur innovation bhi theek se nahi ho rahi.

Waise, Heritage Foods, Parag Milk Foods, aur Hatsun Agro Product jaise organised players bhi isi environment mein kaam kar rahe hain. Inki valuations dekh ke lagta hai ki investors ko future mein growth ki umeed hai, shayad value-added products se.

Government bhi is problem ko solve karne mein lagi hai. Nayi Fodder Policy aa rahi hai jisse feed access improve hoga aur cost 15% tak kam ho sakti hai. Government quality fodder seeds aur feed infrastructure develop karne mein bhi support kar rahi hai.

Indian dairy market toh 2026-2034 tak INR 58,034.06 billion tak pahunchne ka estimate hai. Sab kuch policies sahi se implement karne aur productivity badhane par depend karta hai.
