Privatization Ki Zaroorat Kyun?

Vedanta ke Anil Agarwal ka kehna hai ki India ko apne defense manufacturing sector mein ek bada change lana hoga. Woh chahte hain ki sarkari ordnance factories ko modern karke private companies ko de diya jaye. Unka logic hai ki private sector ki efficiency se production 10 guna tak badh sakta hai. Yeh sab aise time pe ho raha hai jab India ka defense export ekdum record level par pahunch gaya hai, jo FY2025-26 mein ₹38,424 crore ho gaya hai. Ye ek achhi khabar hai kyuki isse public aur private dono sectors ko fayda ho raha hai aur India apni defense needs ke liye kisi aur par kam nirbhar rahega.

Production Badhane Ka Goal

Agarwal ka privatization ka idea India ki defense production capacity badhane par focused hai. Desh mein jo 41 ordnance factories hain, agar unme private sector aa jaye toh yeh production ko kaafi tez kar sakte hain. Ye 'Make in India' initiative ke liye bhi achha hai. Abhi waise toh BEL, HAL, aur BDL jaise defense stocks mix performance de rahe hain, par geopolitics ki wajah se defense sector par nazar toh sabki hai.

Export Mein Dhamaka

FY2025-26 mein defense exports ₹38,424 crore ke paar kar gaye. Ismein public sector ka hissa 54.84% tha aur private sector ka 45.16%. Pichle paanch saal mein ye lagbhag teen guna badha hai. Government ka target hai ki FY30 tak ye ₹50,000 crore tak pahunch jaye. Analysts ko lagta hai ki pichle saal ke muqable capital outlay mein 10-15% tak ka growth aayega, jismein indigenization aur exports par zyada focus hoga. Haan, global scale par dekhe toh India ka export abhi bhi kam hai, par hum sahi direction mein ja rahe hain.

Challenges Bhi Kam Nahi

Par yaar, privatization itni bhi aasan nahi hai. Bureaucracy aur slow processes ek badi problem hain. Reforms hone ke baad bhi projects ko approve hone mein saalon lag sakte hain. Sarkari companies par zyada nirbharta aur private firms par bharosa kam hona bhi ek challenge hai. Sabse kam price wale deals par zyada focus karne se advanced technology development slow ho sakta hai. Aur haan, hum abhi bhi bahut saare critical components ke liye imports par nirbhar hain, jo ek risk hai.

Sector Ka Future Accha Lagta Hai

Overall, analysts India ke defense sector ko lekar kaafi positive hain. Growth ki ummeed hai, aur government bhi self-reliance par zor de rahi hai. Agar privatization sahi se manage hui toh India ek powerful global defense manufacturing hub ban sakta hai.
