US Department of State ne officially announce kiya hai ki India ke liye $428 Million ka defence support package approve ho gaya hai. Yeh deal India ke existing Apache attack helicopters aur M777 ultra-light howitzers ko support karne ke liye hai.

Ismein, $198.2 Million ka amount Apache helicopters ki sustainment services ke liye hai, aur $230 Million M777 howitzers ke liye hai. Is sab se India ki military taiyaari aur mazboot hogi.

US ka kehna hai ki yeh deal dono deshon ke beech strategic partnership ko aur strong karegi aur India ko regional threats se deal karne mein madad degi. India apni homeland defence ko bhi isse enhance kar payega.

Apache support ke liye Boeing aur Lockheed Martin ko principals banaya gaya hai, jabki M777 howitzers ke liye UK ki BAE Systems kaam karegi. Is package mein engineering, technical support, logistics, training aur spare parts bhi included hain, taaki equipment hamesha ready rahe.
