Fuel Switch US mein Inspection ke liye gaya
India ka Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) ne order diya hai ki Air India ke Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner ka ek fuel control switch US mein original equipment manufacturer (OEM) ko inspection ke liye bheja jaaye. Yeh decision tab liya gaya jab ek pilot ne February 2 ko report kiya ki switch apne 'RUN' position se 'CUTOFF' position mein bina properly lock hue move ho sakta hai.
Boeing ka kehna hai Switch theek hai
Air India ne Boeing ke guidance ke baad apne saare 787s aur is specific aircraft ko test kiya. OEM ne test results ko review kiya aur conclude kiya ki fuel control switch bilkul sahi kaam kar raha hai. Lekin, DGCA ne phir bhi US mein ek independent inspection ka faisla kiya taaki critical component ki airworthiness ko confirm kiya ja sake. Safety Concerns aur Crash Probe
