अडानी पोर्ट्स एंड स्पेशल इकोनॉमिक ज़ोन लिमिटेड ने अक्टूबर के लिए अपने परिचालन प्रदर्शन का खुलासा किया है, जिसमें कुल कार्गो वॉल्यूम में साल-दर-साल 6% की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है, जो 40.2 मिलियन मीट्रिक टन (MMT) तक पहुंच गया है। इस महीने के दौरान कंटेनर वॉल्यूम में 24% की जबरदस्त बढ़ोतरी इस विस्तार का मुख्य कारण रही।
वित्तीय वर्ष की शुरुआत से अब तक (अप्रैल से अक्टूबर तक), कंपनी ने 284.4 MMT कार्गो संभाला है, जो पिछले वर्ष की इसी अवधि की तुलना में 10% की वृद्धि है। इस सात महीने की अवधि में कंटेनर वॉल्यूम 21% साल-दर-साल बढ़ा है।
अपने लॉजिस्टिक्स सेगमेंट में, अडानी पोर्ट्स ने अक्टूबर में लॉजिस्टिक्स रेल वॉल्यूम में 16% की वृद्धि देखी, जिसमें 60,387 ट्वेंटी-फुट इक्विवेलेंट यूनिट (TEUs) संभाले गए। वित्तीय वर्ष के पहले 10 महीनों में, लॉजिस्टिक्स रेल वॉल्यूम 15% बढ़कर 418,793 TEUs हो गया।
हालांकि, जनरल पर्पस वैगन इन्वेस्टमेंट स्कीम (GPWIS) वॉल्यूम में अक्टूबर में 6% की मामूली गिरावट आई और यह 1.7 MMT रहा, लेकिन संचयी अवधि के लिए इसमें 1% की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई।
