एक्सिस म्यूचुअल फंड, संभावित स्पेशलाइज्ड इन्वेस्टमेंट फंड (SIF) क्षेत्र में एक शुरुआती कदम रखने वाला, अगले दो महीनों के भीतर इस श्रेणी में अपना पहला फंड लॉन्च करने की तैयारी कर रहा है। यह घोषणा एक्सिस एमएफ की SIF योजनाओं के लिए नई गति का संकेत देती है, उस दौर के बाद जब वे उत्पाद रोलआउट में कुछ साथियों से पिछड़ रहे थे। भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड (SEBI) ने फरवरी 2024 में SIFs को एक ऐसे उत्पाद के रूप में पेश किया था जो पारंपरिक म्यूचुअल फंडों की तुलना में अधिक जोखिम और रिटर्न चाहने वाले निवेशकों की जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है, लेकिन पोर्टफोलियो मैनेजमेंट सर्विसेज (PMS) की तुलना में प्रवेश का बैरियर कम है। एक्सिस एमएफ ने मार्च में नंदिक मलिक को इक्विटी और हाइब्रिड SIF डिवीजन का प्रमुख नियुक्त किया था और नवंबर के अंत तक आवश्यक SEBI लाइसेंस मिलने की उम्मीद है।
नंदिक मलिक ने कहा कि फंड हाउस मौजूदा बाजार श्रेणियों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेगा, जिसमें आर्बिट्रेज फंड सबसे तत्काल अवसर हैं। इन फंडों से शुरुआत में कॉर्पोरेशन्स और फैमिली ऑफिस को आकर्षित करने की उम्मीद है। जैसे-जैसे SIFs एक विश्वसनीय ट्रैक रिकॉर्ड स्थापित करेंगे, उच्च-नेट-वर्थ व्यक्तियों (HNIs) और अन्य कॉर्पोरेशन्स की भागीदारी बढ़ने की संभावना है।
SIF के लिए न्यूनतम निवेश ₹10 लाख है, जो PMS के लिए आवश्यक ₹50 लाख से काफी कम है। कई अन्य फंड हाउस SIF सेगमेंट में पहले से ही सक्रिय हैं, जिनमें एसबीआई म्यूचुअल फंड, एडलवाइस म्यूचुअल फंड और क्वांट म्यूचुअल फंड ने हाल ही में इस श्रेणी में अपने न्यू फंड ऑफर्स (NFOs) बंद किए हैं। निप्पॉन म्यूचुअल फंड ने लाइसेंस के लिए आवेदन किया है, और मिरे एसेट इन्वेस्टमेंट मैनेजर्स ने अपने SIFs के लिए ब्रांड नाम घोषित किए हैं।
