इस तेजी का मुख्य कारण 3M इंडिया का FY26 की सितंबर तिमाही (Q2FY26) में मजबूत प्रदर्शन था। प्रॉफिट आफ्टर टैक्स (PAT) साल-दर-साल (YoY) 43% बढ़कर ₹191 करोड़ हो गया, जो पिछले साल की समान तिमाही में ₹134 करोड़ था। प्रॉफिट बिफोर टैक्स (PBT) में भी 37% YoY की महत्वपूर्ण वृद्धि हुई, जो ₹183 करोड़ से बढ़कर ₹251 करोड़ हो गया। बिक्री और अन्य परिचालन आय 14% YoY बढ़कर ₹1,266 करोड़ हो गई, जो ₹1,111 करोड़ थी। अर्निंग्स बिफोर इंटरेस्ट, टैक्स, डेप्रिसिएशन और अमोर्टाइजेशन (EBITDA) में 33.1% YoY की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई और यह ₹268 करोड़ रहा।
रमेश रामदुराई, मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर, 3M इंडिया लिमिटेड ने Q2FY26 में पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में 14% की बिक्री वृद्धि पर प्रकाश डाला, जिसका श्रेय उन्होंने चारों व्यावसायिक खंडों: हेल्थकेयर (14.9%), कंज्यूमर (14.6%), ट्रांसपोर्टेशन और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स (12.9%), और सेफ्टी और इंडस्ट्रियल (12.3%) में व्यापक वृद्धि को दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि कंपनी ने मार्केट में पैठ बढ़ाने के लिए बिक्री और विपणन पर अधिक खर्च बनाए रखा और टीमों को उनके निष्पादन के लिए धन्यवाद दिया।
