Riyadh Air Starts Daily Mumbai-Riyadh Flights From Aug 4

Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Air will launch daily direct flights between Mumbai and Riyadh beginning August 4. This expansion aims to capture demand in India’s growing aviation sector by offering premium connectivity to the Middle East and Europe. Bookings for the new service open today, July 6.

Riyadh Air, the Saudi Arabian carrier supported by the Public Investment Fund, is entering the Indian aviation market with a new daily direct flight service connecting Mumbai and Riyadh. The operations are scheduled to commence on August 4, utilizing Boeing B787-9 aircraft to serve the route. Passengers will have the option to begin booking tickets for these flights starting July 6.

Expanding Connectivity and Capacity

This launch is part of a broader strategy by Riyadh Air to position Riyadh as a major international transport hub. The airline intends to scale its global reach to more than 100 destinations by 2030. For Indian travelers, the new service provides a direct link to the Saudi capital, with additional transit options available for those traveling to European cities like London and Madrid, or regional hubs including Jeddah and Cairo. The airline has opted for a four-class configuration on its Boeing aircraft, aiming to appeal to premium travelers alongside business and leisure segments.
