IndiGo Clears Refunds, Offers Rs 5,000 Vouchers Amid Disruptions
Overview

IndiGo has cleared all refunds for flight cancellations between December 3-5, according to the DGCA. The airline also extended its 'Gesture of Care' initiative, offering Rs. 5,000 travel vouchers to passengers whose flights were cancelled or significantly delayed due to operational issues.

DGCA announced on Friday that IndiGo has completed processing all refunds for flight cancellations that occurred between December 3rd and December 5th. The airline has also extended its customer support initiative for passengers affected by these operational disruptions.

The aviation regulator has maintained ongoing dialogue with IndiGo concerning refunds and compensation for the flight cancellations during the December 3-5 period. These disruptions were attributed to operational issues.

Further support for affected passengers includes the airline's "Gesture of Care" program. IndiGo is providing two travel vouchers, each valued at ₹5,000 and valid for 12 months. These vouchers are for passengers whose flights faced cancellation or delays exceeding three hours within the specified timeframe. Additionally, passengers whose flights were cancelled within a 24-hour window of their scheduled departure are eligible to claim compensation.
