Ceigall India Bags Rs 705 Crore Arunachal Highway Order

Ceigall India has secured a Rs 704.70 crore contract from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways to build the Lada-Sarli section of the Frontier Highway in Arunachal Pradesh. The project will be executed via a joint venture. This win adds to the company's order book, which stood at Rs 18,568.3 crore as of June 2026.

Ceigall India has been awarded a contract worth Rs 704.70 crore by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways to develop a key stretch of the Frontier Highway in Arunachal Pradesh. The project involves constructing the Lada-Sarli section of National Highway 913 (NH-913), spanning from kilometer 85.60 to kilometer 168.00.

The company will execute this project as part of a joint venture, holding a 74% stake, while its partner, Sushee Infra & Mining Ltd, holds the remaining 26%. This partnership allows the company to share resources for a project located in a challenging geographic region. The construction phase is set for 48 months, after which the company will handle a five-year maintenance period under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model.

For investors, this order represents a continued build-up of the company’s revenue visibility. As of June 30, 2026, Ceigall India reported an order book of Rs 18,568.3 crore. In the first quarter of the 2027 fiscal year, the company recorded a standalone revenue of Rs 970 crore and a net profit of Rs 75.3 crore. Consistent order inflows remain important for maintaining this growth trajectory in the competitive infrastructure sector.

Building infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh comes with specific operational challenges that investors should keep in mind. Projects in this region often face hurdles related to difficult hilly terrain, complex land acquisition processes, and logistical constraints. Additionally, infrastructure firms are sensitive to the costs of raw materials like steel and cement. Any significant fluctuation in these input costs, or delays in project execution due to local terrain conditions, weather, or regulatory approvals, can influence profit margins over time.

The next important monitorable for the company will be the pace of project execution. Shareholders may track updates on project mobilization and whether the company can maintain its operational efficiency while working in such a remote area.
