Trident Group announced a significant Rs 2,000-crore expansion plan in Punjab to drive industrial growth and employment. The investment includes Rs 1,500 crore for terry towel production and paper manufacturing modernization in Barnala, and Rs 500 crore for a corporate office and capacity-building center in Mohali. This initiative is expected to generate 2,000 jobs, with a special focus on empowering semi-skilled rural women.
