magicpin Expands AI Assistant Vera to Six Global Markets

E-commerce platform magicpin has launched its AI tool, Vera, in international markets including the US and UAE. The company has invested $1 million to scale its AI capabilities for global merchants.

E-commerce and food delivery platform magicpin is expanding its reach beyond India by taking its artificial intelligence assistant, Vera, to six international markets. The tool is now operational in the United States, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates. This move marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to grow its footprint outside its home market.

Vera is designed to provide restaurants and retailers with real-time data on order volumes. By offering these insights, the tool helps business owners manage their daily operations and prepare for changes in customer demand. The company reported that during an international testing phase, the assistant completed more than 82,000 interactions. This suggests that there is a demand for operational support tools among small and medium-sized businesses in these regions.

To support this growth, magicpin has allocated $1 million toward the development of its AI technology. CEO and co-founder Anshoo Sharma indicated that the company intends to add more languages and region-specific features to the assistant. The goal is to improve how the tool integrates with merchant workflows across diverse business sectors. Currently, Vera is used by merchants across 25 different categories, including beauty, healthcare, grocery, and education.

While the Middle East is currently identified as a fast-growing region for the tool, the company has set a target of facilitating over 500,000 AI-powered interactions globally by the end of 2026. For investors, the success of this expansion will depend on how effectively the company can adapt its technology to varied international business environments and whether it can compete with local digital solutions in these new regions. The ability of the platform to scale its AI stack without significantly increasing its cost base will be a factor to monitor as the company continues its international rollout.
