This 'digitization of the middle' allows technology to act as a facilitator for market access rather than a disruptor of established social and economic ties.

For investors monitoring the sector, the key metric for success is no longer just user acquisition numbers, but the operational efficiency and sustainability of these supply chain improvements. Future updates to follow include the performance of technology integration within Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) and the scaling of specialized infrastructure projects like automated grading and storage facilities. The ability of companies to improve price realization for farmers, while maintaining low operational costs, will be the primary indicator of long-term viability in the Indian agritech space.
