Netweb Technologies reported a sharp profit increase to ₹136.7 crore in the second quarter, driven by strong adoption of its artificial intelligence systems. The company’s revenue surged to ₹1,323.3 crore, supported by an order book of ₹2,629 crore. Investors are tracking the company's ability to maintain this momentum amid high-end computing competition.
Netweb Technologies has reported a significant jump in its financial performance for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026. The company’s consolidated profit after tax reached ₹136.7 crore, a substantial increase compared to the ₹31.4 crore reported during the same quarter last year. This growth highlights the company's expansion into high-end technology segments.
The company’s operational revenue for the period stood at ₹1,323.3 crore, rising from ₹303.7 crore in the September 2025 quarter. This growth was largely supported by its strategic focus on artificial intelligence systems, which contributed ₹773.1 crore, accounting for more than half of the total revenue. High-performance computing and private cloud services also provided steady contributions of ₹248.2 crore and ₹244.8 crore, respectively.
Order Visibility and Market Position
The company enters the upcoming quarters with a healthy order book of ₹2,629 crore, which helps provide revenue visibility. In addition to these confirmed orders, the company holds an L1 position worth ₹652.5 crore, suggesting potential for further order intake in the near future. Management indicated that the total profit for the first half of the current fiscal year has reached ₹222 crore, which has already surpassed the profit recorded for the entire 2026 fiscal year.
Business Risks and Market Context
While the demand for AI infrastructure is currently a strong supporting factor, Netweb Technologies operates in a highly competitive technology hardware market. The company competes with large, well-established global players that have significant scale and deep supply chains. For investors, the long-term performance will depend on the company’s ability to secure and assemble high-end components like specialized processors and graphics cards, which are often subject to global supply chain constraints.
Furthermore, while the current order book is strong, the hardware sector can be cyclical, and profit margins may be sensitive to changes in the cost of imported raw materials and electronic components. The reliance on the AI and high-performance computing segment also means that the company’s growth is linked to the pace at which businesses and government entities continue to invest in their digital infrastructure. The key monitorable for the next few quarters will be the speed of order execution and the company's ability to maintain its profit margins while scaling its operations.
