ESDS Software Shares Surge 300% Since IPO; AI Deal in Focus

ESDS Software Solution shares have risen over 300% since their September 2026 market debut, fueled by strong investor interest in data center infrastructure. The rally follows a significant $1.25 billion cloud-capacity deal with SharonAI Holdings Inc. Investors are now looking toward the company's upcoming quarterly results to gauge if business growth can match the recent stock performance.

ESDS Software Solution Ltd. has seen its share price jump over 300% since it began trading on September 4, 2026. This rapid movement highlights a strong trend in the Indian market where investors are looking for companies that provide the digital backbone for artificial intelligence and cloud computing. The stock performance suggests that investors are eager to gain exposure to this sector, especially as there are very few listed companies that focus purely on data center operations.

The recent rally is largely driven by the company’s $1.25 billion cloud-capacity agreement with SharonAI Holdings Inc. Under this deal, the company plans to deploy 8,000 graphics processing units, or GPUs, which are essential hardware for running complex AI applications. Financial projections suggest that this expansion could help the company reach a revenue of 23 billion rupees by the fiscal year ending in March 2027, which would be a significant jump from the 4.7 billion rupees reported in the previous period.

When looking at valuations, ESDS Software currently trades with a scarcity premium because few similar companies are listed on the exchanges. At its IPO price of 429 rupees, the company’s enterprise value was estimated at roughly 2.1 times its expected revenue for fiscal year 2028. For comparison, industry peer E2E Networks Ltd. currently trades at approximately 11 times its estimated revenue. While this difference in valuation has caught market attention, investors should note that ESDS is still in the early stages of proving its ability to execute such large-scale projects without cost overruns or delays.

The stock's future performance will likely depend on the successful execution of the SharonAI deal and the company's ability to maintain its profit margins. Market participants are also watching for potential upcoming IPOs from competitors like Sify Infinit Spaces and Yotta Data Services, which could offer investors more choices and change the current supply-demand dynamic in the sector. Additionally, secondary players in the ecosystem, such as fiber-optic suppliers like Sterlite Technologies Ltd. and HFCL Ltd., have also seen gains, reflecting a broader positive sentiment for the entire digital infrastructure space. The next important update for shareholders will be the quarterly earnings release this Thursday, where the company is expected to provide more details on its current operating performance.
