Consint.AI Secures Rs 22 Crore In Series A Funding Round

Noida-based AI startup Consint.AI has raised Rs 22 crore in Series A funding to expand its global operations and enhance its fraud-detection technology. Backed by investors including Equanimity Ventures, the company plans to deploy its AI models across insurance, healthcare, and financial sectors. As a private entity, the firm's growth depends on its ability to scale internationally and maintain model accuracy.

Consint.AI, a Noida-based deeptech firm, has secured Rs 22 crore in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by BIG Global Investment JSC, with participation from existing backers Equanimity Ventures Trust II and Seafund Venture India Scheme I. This capital injection is intended to accelerate the company’s expansion into international markets, including the Middle East, Africa, the United States, and Southeast Asia.

A core objective of this funding is the development of a foundational AI model designed to detect fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA). The startup intends to deploy this technology across insurance companies, banks, financial services, and government health programs. By automating complex tasks such as claims processing and document forensics, the company aims to reduce manual intervention and improve risk-based decision-making for its enterprise clients.

Founded in 2020 by Ashish Chaturvedi and Swadeep Singh, the company has positioned itself in the niche market of AI-driven risk management. According to the company, its software has assessed over 100 million transactions, identifying more than Rs 1,000 crore in potential fraud to date. This latest funding follows a Rs 5 crore seed round completed in January 2025.

As a private startup, Consint.AI is not listed on the stock exchanges, meaning its financial performance, debt, and profit margins are not publicly disclosed. Investors interested in the deeptech sector should note that the company’s operational metrics, such as the total volume of fraud identified, are self-reported and have not been independently verified.

For the company, the road ahead involves significant execution challenges. Developing foundational AI technology is capital-intensive and faces intense competition from established global tech players and other specialized startups. Additionally, because the company operates in sensitive sectors like healthcare and finance, its future growth will be tied to its ability to maintain data security, ensure model accuracy, and comply with diverse regulatory environments across its target international markets. The ability to successfully implement this technology for large enterprise clients will be a key monitorable for the business.
