Aurum PropTech Revenue Rises 57% to Rs 137 Cr in Q2

Aurum PropTech reported a 57% increase in revenue to Rs 137 crore for the second quarter of FY27. The company's adjusted operating margins improved to 11.5% as it integrated AI tools into its real estate platforms. Investors are focusing on how the company manages the integration of its various property services to sustain this profitability trend.

Aurum PropTech, an Indian real estate technology company, reported a 57% rise in total income to Rs 137 crore for the quarter ended September 2026. This financial growth comes as the company focuses on building an AI-native operating system for the real estate sector, moving away from its previous focus on traditional business models toward a more technology-driven approach.

A key focus for investors is the company’s improved profitability. The firm reported an adjusted operating margin of 11.5%, a notable recovery from the 3.1% margin seen in the same period last year. This marks the fourth consecutive quarter in which the company has recorded a positive profit before tax, signaling a shift in its business efficiency. The company attributes this progress to the integration of new digital platforms and the use of AI to lower operational costs.

The group operates across several segments in the real estate market. Its property brokerage division, PropTiger, saw gross commissions rise 144% compared to the previous year, driven by a higher volume of large real estate transactions. In the sales automation space, the company’s platform Sell.do generated Rs 1.7 crore in new sales by implementing AI tools like ChatGPT to improve lead management and customer communication.

In the rental market, the company’s platform HelloWorld maintained an occupancy rate of 82% across 260 coliving spaces. Furthermore, its rental business, NestAway, reported a 7.6-fold increase in bookings quarter-on-quarter. Management stated that these gains were largely due to the use of AI-led lead conversion strategies, which help the company turn interested users into confirmed tenants more effectively than manual processes.

For investors, the primary area of concern remains the execution risk involved in managing a complex portfolio of different real estate services. The company has acquired multiple platforms over the years, and its success depends on how well it can consolidate these services into a single, unified technology ecosystem. While the recent growth in margins is a positive sign, the proptech industry in India remains highly competitive, with pricing pressure and high customer acquisition costs serving as constant challenges. Investors may look for future updates regarding the company’s debt levels and its ability to maintain these margins as it scales its operations further.
