Adobe is expanding the capabilities of its experimental iOS camera application, Project Indigo, by incorporating a new suite of artificial intelligence tools. Technically, Adobe is utilizing Google’s Gemini Nano model to power these capabilities but has indicated that it may incorporate its own Firefly models in the future. Adobe’s broader strategy continues to center on integrating AI into its core creative workflows to improve productivity and creative outcomes for users. While these advanced tools are currently limited to a testing phase, they highlight a shift toward more nuanced, AI-assisted photography.
