AI Startup Kily Raises ₹30 Crore from Sorin Investments

Agentic AI startup Kily has secured ₹30 crore in funding led by Sorin Investments to expand its e-commerce automation tools. The company provides autonomous software for brands on platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. Investors should monitor how the firm scales its product offerings and competes in the fast-evolving AI enterprise software space.

Kily, a startup focusing on agentic AI for e-commerce, has raised ₹30 crore in a funding round led by Sorin Investments. Other participants in the round included payment gateway provider Razorpay and Wyser Capital. The company plans to use these funds to improve its product capabilities and expand its market reach among consumer brands.

Automation for E-commerce Brands

Founded in 2025 by former employees of major e-commerce firms like Amazon and Flipkart, Kily builds AI agents that perform tasks without constant human intervention. These agents are designed to handle pricing, digital advertising, and inventory management for brands selling on online marketplaces. By analyzing large amounts of real-time data, the software aims to help brands make faster decisions on platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, and various quick-commerce channels. The company counts firms such as ITC among its early clients.

Strategic Focus on Autonomous Systems

For investors, the move highlights the growing interest in autonomous enterprise software. Subeer Monga, a partner at Sorin Investments, noted that the industry is seeing a shift toward systems capable of making independent decisions. Kily is attempting to build a category of AI-native software that manages the technical complexity of modern e-commerce. According to CEO Sankalp Mehrotra, the primary objective is to help brands scale their operations more profitably by reducing the manual workload currently required to manage online stores.

Competitive and Operational Risks

While the funding provides capital for growth, the company faces significant challenges typical of the enterprise software sector. The effectiveness of AI agents depends heavily on the accuracy of real-time data and the company's ability to maintain high performance across different e-commerce platforms. Additionally, as more startups enter the agentic AI space, Kily will need to prove that its tools provide a clear business advantage over competitors and existing manual management processes. As an early-stage startup, Kily’s success will depend on its ability to execute its expansion strategy without incurring high costs that could hurt its financial health. Investors may track the company's progress in acquiring new enterprise clients and the stability of its software as it scales to manage larger volumes of marketplace data.
