Nvidia Corporation, a leader in artificial intelligence, has announced a significant $1 billion equity investment in Nokia Oyj. The deal involves Nvidia purchasing approximately 166 million Nokia shares at $6.01 each, resulting in a 2.9% ownership stake for Nvidia. This collaboration is designed to enhance future telecommunications infrastructure. Nvidia's advanced chips will be utilized to speed up Nokia's software development for next-generation mobile networks, including 5G and the upcoming 6G standards.
